Doublewide’s music is inspired by a wide variety of artists and styles, including: Waylon Jennings, Johnny Cash, Bad Religion, Wilco, AC/DC, Pearl Jam, The Clash, Motorhead, Pink Floyd, Bob Segar, and Neil Young. The band’s self-titled debut album, “Doublewide”, features musicians from Colorado and Louisiana. All songs were written by Matt Thornton and produced by Dave Nezat. The songs became a grand mix of rock, cajun, and country-fried glory, and gained regional airplay with songs like ‘Cow’ and ‘My Bud’. With the addition of members, May and Lewis, Doublewide has established itself as the “hard country” band their fans have grown to love. Their second studio album is a double disc compilation of rock and country and will be released in early 2016. (click here to view)
